No one ever got anywhere without speaking up. So I'm doing that today.
We can't deny NeoPets is a great game and way more addictive then even Pokemon. But there has been problems and it's time we stood our ground.

I have been a loyal player/supporter of NeoPets for awhile now and I for the most part have a wonderful time on your excellent site. However, despite the fact that you all do great work, I, and many other players have problems we'd like to be addressed right now.
And how about a game that gives away furniture to the winners? Furniture is SO expensive and hard to get! Please let us WIN furniture!!!! Pretty please? And NOT just the WoM - we'd like to have furniture OTHER then stone or - ick - dung!
Bring back the follow "retired" items: Fish Negg, Red Wine, Rose Wine. These items were cool. We want them back!
You do realize if you use buttons instead of arrows you'd save a ton of bandwith on NeoQuest, don't you?
How come losing at Tombola gets much better prizes then winning does? Gross Food isn't good for anything except for maybe quests. But pets seem to love the beans, olives, prunes, etc! And you can't use any of the Tropical stuff like the toy boats. So please give out better prizes. One can actually get more points by losing at Tombola then at winning! Also could the Fruit Machine also have a booby prize? It would be nice to get something small when we lose.
The wishing well needs to be awake 15 hours a day. Period. For many of us who've been with you OVER a YEAR we've never - not once - gotten a wish granted. It's about time we did.
Speaking of us "old timers." How about a prize for sticking with you so long thru all the ups and downs? Like a Fish Negg for staying a year, a bottle of wine for staying two, etc as the time goes up. Start giving these prizes out right away even to those way past the year mark - in fact, for them since they got ziltch you should make it up to them with a Fish Negg AND a bottle of wine! It's rather frustrating to see NEWBIES who have fish neggs in their shops while the old timers haven't even gotten close to having one. Not to mention unfair. It's unfair things like this, in fact, that lead many a NeoPets player to use cheat programs. If the site was a little more fair then there wouldn't be a need for cheat programs.
How about letting us change the names of our pets? Especially pets that have been rescued from the NeoPound as these pets often have terrible names as they're made by people who don't care to play nice. They just like to create pets and abandon them. It would be nice to change their names to something more to our liking. Plus if we use Strange Potion or Lab Ray to change their genders we would like to make a more gender-correct name for them.
Protecting children is well and good, but a lot of us are tired of getting a request to be a NeoFriend only to find out we cannot add or NeoMail this person because their parents haven't filled out the Parental Consent Form. Instead of informing the reciever about this, how about informing the child in question when they make the request of someone to become their NeoFriend? That way we don't end up feeling frustrated or even guilty because we cannot add this person and cannot tell them why they're being refused!
Quests - No one can deny - the reward for completeing an Earth Faerie quest STINKS! We can feed our pets for way cheaper then completing one of her quests! You said we could get rare items for completing a quest. So we request that you change the reward from filling our pets up with food to those rare items we were promised. Rainbow Neggs, Fish Neggs, Furniture, Codestones, Medicine, etc. Remember, without us your site is nothing. So it's time you got around to doing the things you promised rather then wasting our time with idiot things like Dr. Sloth. And the new quests in Halloween World are impossible to do. Please put up a Spooky Foods shop. No one is charging fair prices for Spooky Foods. Therefore no quests can be completed except by those who are extremely rich. It's not fair. Please correct this mistake now.
There's simply not enough NeoPoints anymore. Everything costs way, way too much. And your sponser sign ups are annoying the heck out of us! Why should we have to constantly sign up with sponsers and suffer all the SPAM they send us? It's quite unfair. Plus many of us feel there is HEAVY FAVORTISM going on. Some people get the same wish at the wishing well granted 3 or 4 times a day! Some people unfairly get all the rare items like the bottles of wine, the Cement Mixer, etc. NeoPets use to be a lot more fun. But lately it's been going severely downhill. Please stop with the favortism, stop with the expensive items. Or we will stop signing up with your sponsers and make sure everyone else does too. Keep in mind that YOU need US. Not the other way around.
Clothing, Island Gifts, and Gifts are stupid and pointless. Either remove these items so we won't have to waste our time on them or finally let us be able to DO something with them other then give them up on quests. ALL clothing items (this includes the clothing you find in the garden shop and the Island shop) should right now be allowed to be put on our pets like we do the weapons and defensive items now. We should be allowed to play with our gifts like we do with toys. Using gardening supplies should allow us to grow our own food. (Something akin to that stupid cooking pot. Only better since we can make more.) So how about it - now that gardens work let us harvest some of that food! And for much of the Island stuff like the cherry wishing sticks, let us give it to our pets to use in the battle dome. It's time you delievered on your promises and stop being like a politition, promising us one thing and delievering us - nothing. Remember, we support you. We're the ones who sign up for things which gets you guys money. Without us you have nothing.
Also many of us have found that when we change our password we suddenly cannot get into our NeoDrives. And despite promises for months to get this fixed nothing has been done. Why? And even though you claim to have fixed this - we STILL cannot get in! And where did the link for them go? If you've gotten rid of them it would be nice if you would've informed us before hand.
NeoPoints - we need more of them. Period. Shop prices are sky high still. A 10 NP jar of baby food sells for as much as 1,000 NPs. A Faerie, valued at 90 NPs, goes for anywhere from 700 to 10,000 NPs or more.
How about letting us harvest food from our NeoGardens now that they work? And how about a super rare item for contests and sign ups - a Negg Tree. Every day a person can go into their garden and pick one ripe Negg. Most the time it's brown but sometimes it'll be a rare one like rainbow - or even a Fish Negg! Neggs do have to come from somewhere after all. A Negg Tree would be cool and I bet you'd get LOTS of sign ups if you offered one!
Finally - Can you please make the following magic abilities work outside the Battledome - Negg, Magic Berries, and Great Feast. So we can at least save NPs that we'd normally have to spend on food so maybe, just maybe we could afford the ridiculously priced Faerieland items? Or is it that you WANT us to resort to cheating? Hm? Cause right now we pretty much are forced to because of the lack of points.
