RESULTS FROM NIGHT TWO 9-9-00
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Quarterfinals:

Chris Hero defeated American Kickboxer.

As these two men were set to lock up, Paul E. Smooth & Breyer Wellington began brawling inside the building and made their way to the outside. Wellington claims that Smooth made attempts to grab his crotch in the dressing room. Smooth denied all charges, but a match was signed between the two men for later in the evening.

This was a steady back and forth match, but Hero came out with the victory via submission with the "Liontamer/Walls Of Jericho".

"Sexy" Ace Steel defeated Hy Zaya when Hy Zaya hit the Swanton bomb on Steel but showing a bit of over-confidence lazily pinned Steel, but the pin was reversed at the two count giving the victory to IWA newcomer Ace Steel.

After the match, Richard X came out and greeted the fans and thanked everyone for their support after "From Hardcore Hell & Back 2000". Hy Zaya returned to the ring, not believing what he was hearing from X. Hy Zaya then asked Richard if he was still down with himself & Uncle Honkey. Richard stated no and Hy Zaya responded by saying there was no heat between the two but was quick to turn on his former tag partner even allowing Honkey to splash Richard in the corner. The save was made by Suicide Kid and Breyer Wellington.

Harry "Babe Magnet" Palmer defeated Chip Fairway after Fairway went for The Sandtrap (Texas Cloverleaf) but Palmer cradled Fairway and got the pinfall victory.

Suicide Kid defeated CM Punk with the Suicide Solution.

Semifinals:

Chris Hero defeated "Sexy" Ace Steel with his finisher entitled "Hero's Welcome" (slop drop position then he spins to his left and hits them with a diamond cutter type move)

Harry Palmer defeated Suicide Kid. As Suicide Kid was going for the Suicide Solution, the referee, IWA's Official Mark, kicked Kid in the groin allowing Palmer to cover Suicide for the win.

Finals:

Chris Hero defeated Harry Palmer. The referee assigned to the match, Chris Class, was knocked out after a brutal DDT by Palmer. The Official Mark made his way to the ring to ref the match. It wasn't too long before he was knocked out as well which brought out the third ref. Hero hit the "Hero's Welcome" scoring the pinfall and becoming the winner of the Sweet Science Sixteen tournament.

Non tournament matches:

Paul E. Smooth defeated Breyer Wellington after Dave Prazak threw Gold Bond powder into the face of Wellington allowing Smooth to land the victory in the match.

Ian & Axl Rotten defeated Corporal Robinson & Hardcore Craig. This one started as a three way dance as Corporal stated to Ian that himself and Craig would just beat up Ian so they could wrestle against each other for the King of the Death Match contention. Ian stated that since they were going to beat him up, he should go to the back and get a tag partner and make it a tag match. Ian goes to the back and comes out with Axl's ECW action figure as his partner. This gets a pretty big laugh from both Craig and Corporal. Ian says his strategy is that by making it a tag, either Corporal or Craig must stay outta the ring. Corporal makes a comment that he can't tag in a toy, and Ian proves you can by slapping the cardboard of the figure. At that time, the music of the Bad Breed plays and out comes the real thing. This was one crazy match that saw Hardcore Craig powerbombed from the turnbuckle on about 8 or 10 light tubes leading to the pin and giving the victory to Ian & Axl Rotten.

Delilah Starr over Jayden Driago and Prophet Daniel Quinn in a three way dance.

Rollin Hard over 2 Tuff Tony to become the number one contender for the IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Title. IWA's Official Mark came to ringside and distracted IWA's newest ref, Brent, which allowed Harry Palmer to enter the ringside area and knock Tony off the top rope allowing Rollin to cover Tony for the win. After the match, Palmer tried to say he was sorry, as he realized that Tony was a lumberjack in his heavyweight title defense later in the night. Tony would have no part of the "apology" by Palmer.

Richard X made a triumphant return to IWA as he defeated his former tag team partner Hy Zaya to become the new IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Champion. As Uncle Honky made his way into the ring, Hy Zaya held Richard in the corner for the Honky Splash. As Honky was running toward the turnbuckle, Richard moved out of the way bringing Hy Zaya into the corner and Honky splashed Hy Zaya instead leading to the pinfall and the IWA Light Heavyweight Title as well as a measure of revenge for Richard X.

Harry Palmer "over" Cash Flo in a lumberjack match for the IWA Heavyweight Title. During the match, the referee, The Official Mark, tried to give a fast three count for Harry. This brought Ian to the ring, as a pre-match stipulation stated that if The Official Mark cheated in any way then he was fired from IWA. Ian then brought in Jim Fannin to ref the match. From here things become unclear as the lumberjacks all began brawling with each other. At some point Fannin was bumped which brought out Brent to ref the match, who was then bumped as well. With no referee and Harry Palmer having Cash Flo in a possible pinfall, The Official Mark hit the ring and counted the three for Harry. After the match, Ian said that the title was being held up pending a rematch next week.

Manslaughter, in his IWA in-ring debut, and Alister Fear over Ian Rotten and Corporal Robinson in a wild all over the place brawl that saw Delilah Starr turn on the fans and side with Manslaughter and Fear. Delilah explained her actions afterwards citing that she "is a God-fearing woman" and cannot align herself any longer with IWA or the type of show Ian promotes. That just leaves one question to answer. If IWA is so bad, what does that say for herself, as she is now aligned with Alister Fear and a man that weilds a LIVE chainsaw coming to the ring in Manslaughter.
