And now, here I am, in lovely Riverside County, California. Possibly the state's most unimportant county. That's not because it's small; Riverside City ranks in as the 66th largest city in the country out of hundreds of thousands. It's just because while they were installing all that great California stuff (Hollywood, Disneyland, Raging Waters, Sea World, Golden Gate Bridge, the great redwood forests, etc.) they totally glossed over this place.
Anyway, this is where I live -- in a place where large masses of people gathered to live for, really, as near as I can figure, no particular reason. Does anyone still go to Palm Springs during college Spring Break? Oh wait, they all go to Florida and Arizona now . . .
