3- Is PKK a legitimate expression of Kurdish self-defense?
Self-defense?  Against what?  The answer is a flat NO!  PKK does NOT represent or defend Kurds...  Is PKK defending itself from Kurdish civilians?  O.K. but babies? PKK has killed more Kurdish civilians than Turkish soldiers and voluntary village guards put together.  Even in the early years-- when the Turkish soldiers were almost sitting ducks and the village guards system had not yet been established-- the terrorism was essentially always directed at civilians of Kurdish origin who disagreed with pkk propaganda or refused to provide material support to pkk.  As horrible a task as it may be, a  brief look at 1984-87 death statistics shows that PKK is a terrorist cult targeting civilians.  Later actions of PKK are no different..
