The new figure skating season opened with the Nebelhorn Trophy in Oberstdorf. Overall, the level was not tremendous at all, but it's early in the season and still there were some valuable performances. About the new musics, be folks prepared to hearing thousands of times the soundtracks of « The Mask of Zorro » and « The Man in the Iron Mask ». Such a lack of originality from the skaters is a big disappointment.
Abbreviations used:
3=triple; 2=double, etc... (you are not stupid!)
A=axel
L=lutz
FL=flutz (its nationality is often American, how come?)
F=flip (attention it doesn't mean I rank a flutz between a flip and
a lutz)
R=rittberger=loop
S=salchow
T=toe loop
* Mind that a fall out is NOT a fall, it's a three turn, a return, all
you want, but not a fall!
IMPORTANT NOTICE
I apologize if there are some mistakes in the detail of the elements. I
am very often talking to coaches and skaters when they come seat by me
which happens quite often. Plus I am chearing for the skaters a lot, with
raddle, horn, etc... so my hands are quite busy! But I think it's not
full of mistakes and you can trust me. Sorry if I don't write about
the costumes and musics, I didn't take notes about that. And this report
was typed very fast, I am very busy cos I'm working for the moment at
a tv channel, so I apologize if it's too short. Sorry for the dance
fans, I'm not into dance at all. I know the level was not good. And
I really dislike the new original dance, it changes completely the nature
of this dance, it really doesn't look great.
MEN
SHORT:
The short program was won by the talented Ukrainian skater Vitaly Danilshenko
who got the bronze medal at this competition last year. He successfully
landed a 3A2T combo, had a bad lean on the 3L after the steps but held
it, and did well on the 2A. He actually was very lucky to land his triple
axel as in the practises he was all over the place on it. Artistically,
his new short is a piece of jewellery, he uses his arms and the music so
well, he's so fast and dynamic.
Second was the French Stannick Jeanette. He used his last year's short
but almost no one has had the chance to see it, plus it is a very modern
and special program « a la francaise », in the perfect innovative French
tradition. His costume was worth the travelling, in which he looked like
a blue monster full of muscles; it could have been the illustration of
« La métamorphose » by Kafka (dixit Patou). The choreography was
very interesting, definitely futuristic.
Elements included a 3A2T combo (lucky cos the warm up was terrible, the
practises were great though, it was usually a triple that followed the
3A), a 3L, the landing was very low and it took him lots of will and strength
to hold it) and a 2A.
Third was Klimkin whom everyone had prectected first, but he started off
with a big... single axel! instead of the triple. Nevertheless, he managed
the 4T after the steps, if I remember well it's the only clean quad in
a short in a big competition (cos there is still Hunfei reported to have
landed four quads in the free and 4F in the short in Poprad), with Guo.
Ok on the 2A. The only man to perform one steps' sequence and one spirals
sequence rather than two steps' sequences. His spirals' sequence included
his famous eagle in which his head almost touches the ice which looks great.
Grzegorczyk was fourth with AGAIN a touch down on the 3A which was followed
by a 2T, a 3L after steps and a double axel. He kept his last year's
short.
Fifth place went to Tyllesen, well held up actually, cos he only landed
a 3F and a 2A. He fell on his 3A combo. His new choreography doesn't
look good, though it's by Bobrin, I don't understand how he can make
up wonderful programs for Czako and upsetting programs for Michael. Michael
shoudn't have been held up on the standard mark cos in the practises
he never landed a clean 3A.
Damon Allen whom we hadn't seen for a long time was placed sixth, with
a fall on the 3A, a 3L2T combo, and a lucky 3F.
Seventh was the Romanian Chiper with a fall out on his big triple axel,
a wonderful fast and long 3L REALLY out of steps (not like many after a
five second-preparation), and a 2A that he actually tried twice. He slid
on the planned attempt then immediately performed it, right away. So it
was a divised technical mark, some judges had considered the jump had started
so it was repeated twice, others not. Good choreography thanks to Sandra
Schär who's doing a wonderful job with him, using perfectly his defects.
His new free especially is great.
Jason Denomee got eighth place with 3L, 3A three turn 2T, and 2A. It appears
to what you read he could have been ranked higher.
Shepherd Clark was ninth after a fall on the 3A, a 3L2T combo, and a fall
out on the 3R. Same short as last year. Wonderful speed at the end in
the step sequence, and always this strange smile that seems to be coming
down to earth like the saint spirit when he skates.
The second French taking part to this competition is indeed very talented,
and was definitely the best in practises, with loads of 3A3T combos, 4T,
and all the triples very easily performed and beautifully landed.
In the short unfortunately, it was another matter. He unbelievably fell
on the second part of his 3A3T combo, and on the 2A (which was almost landed,
it was a pure stupid fall due to nerves). His 3F was ok.
Still, he deserved much better than tenth don't you think? He was the
only one with Danilchenko to land a clean 3A, and his was even better.
Neil Wilson in his new rock program fell on the 3A but landed his 3F and
his 3A.
Hernits who is not in form at the moment, missed his 3A (that he can't
land in practise any more), landed his 3L, and bravely tried again a 3A
at the end but as a result he fell out then added the 2T of the combo.
What he did is obvious forbidden cos he has two triple axels in his program,
the first was opened but still was a triple, so the marks were very low
for his level, in the 3's. His music is definitely too techno and presentati
n
was unfortunately not convincing.
Andreev is a very handsome skater, but his jumps look very girlish, they
have no power, no height and no full rotation. He landed a 3FL2T combo,
a 3F and went for a 3A which he definitely doesn't dominate, so it was
like a three rotation-axel. His parents are famous choreographer but one
can't really say they kept the best in store for their child, it's
ok but nothing too great. I personnaly find Andreev is not made for skating,
or at least he'll never be a champion, his technique is too limitate.
The other programs are not worth a detailed report, here are the elements
for the ones interested:
14th. Kaden
1A, 3L fall out, 2A
15. Horak
3A fall, 3L fall, 2A
16. Primak
3A fall, 3L2T, 3T fall, no speed at all
17. Jensen
3L fall 1T, 3A fall, 3F fall
18. Lorenz
3T3T fall, 3L fall, 2A
19. Domanski WAS undermarked I find, as he has a good quality in his skating
3L two feet, 3S3T fall out, 1A
20. Prahl 3T fall, 3S, 1A
21. Kazimir 2A, 2F, 3L hand down 2T
22. Ganser 3T3T two feet, 3S fall, 2A, fall on the flying sitting spin
23. Ahlswede 3A fall, 3L fall, 3A fall (again NOT allowed), stumble in the steps and
no height on the flying spin yet unbalanced
24. del Pozo Ok, this poor Mexican skater has only a 25 meter-rink in his city but then
why come to such a competition? He can't even land all the double jumps in practise.
2A fall, 1R, 2L --> marks went down to 1.5!!! Never seen this! Totally
deserved though!

Bad news, Gheorghe had to withdrew due to pain he felt in his leg. Sad
for him, cos being seventh in such a competition was a premiere for him.
The first two groups were disastrous. One should bear in mind that amongst
the six German skaters, five were competing for the first time (only Kaden
has competed before).
Jensen got 10th place in the free, with only three triples though, a 3L,
and two 3S (one in combined with 2T). Good choreography, but on the «
Mask of Zorro ».
Lorenz pulled up also to 11th in the free, with 3L2T, 3T, 3R, 3T (doesn't
count cos no combo), two footed 2S, fall on the 3F, two footed 2L, and
2A. He commited a mistake on the flying sitting spin. He has good qualities
though for a brighter future.
Kazimir did better, landing a 3L, 3S, 3T, 3L2T, 2A, 2T but falling on the
3F and the 3A (which he says he completely controlled over the summer,
completing even more than the required three and a half revolutions, but
this remains to be seen) to finish 16th in the free.
Poor Monnier! His free was a disaster absolutely unexplicable considering
his great practises. He fell on the 4T and on the 3T, fell out on the
3A, landed only a 2A and a 2F, singled his R, and touched down on his
3S. Miles away from what he's up to! Got 13th place.
Clark had a disappointing free on the song « Memory » from « Cats
», trying an unprobable 4R which of course resulted in a big mess, singling
his axel, falling out on the 3L, landing a 3R, a 2A, a 1L, and falling
again on a 3T. Before this free which was ranked the 12th, he was acting
like a cat on the ice, showing his claws to the public. Very special!
Ninth was Wilson with a two footed and returned 3F, a two footed 3A, a fall
out on the 3L, a fall on the 3R which he tried later and landed with a
2T, plus a 3S. He's able of much better.
Jeanette followed the same dark path as his fellow friend Gabriel. He fell
on the 3A, landed a 3T2T combo, singled his L, fell out of his 3A, doubled
the F and the R to finally land a 3S. Again no relation to his level,
but he's frequently cracking in the free. With an eight place in the
free, he dropped from 2d to 7th, quite a disaster.
Hernits rose with the 7th best free of the night. He started with a 2A,
then a 3L2T, a 3T, a single lip, a 3R, a 3S and a 3L at the end, very good.
Moreover he has such a difficult step sequence at the end, it really takes
him a lot of courage and energy to perform it. His new free created by
Sandra Schar on the soundtracks from « The Time of the Gypsies » and
« Arizona Dream » by Bregovic, is quite interesting but lacks some
flow and overall his last year's « Riverdance » looked better to
me.
Robert was very lucky to finish sixth in the free, it was far away from
being excellent. He landed the 3A, the 3F, the 3R, and the 3T, but all
of them were as USUAL on two feet! Moreover, he doubled his 3L, doubled
the first 3T, and fell on the 3S. His new free on « The Mask of Zorro
» is ok, fast and dynamic, Robert says he feels very confortable on Spanish
music.
Tyllesen remained 5th with the same free as last year. He landed a 1A,
a 2F, a 3L, a 3S, a 3R on two feet, a good jump sequence 2A-Thoren-3S,
and a 3T.
Allen pulled up to fourth with two falls on two 3A's, one 3F landed and
one fallen, a 3R, a fall out on thee 3L followed by a 2T, and a 3T. Definitely
not a great performance!
The surprise came from Jason Denomee who came from nowhere (the eight place)
to catch the bronze medal with the third best free. He landed a 3A2T,
a 3F, a 3L2T, a second 3A, a 3R, a 3L, and a 3T. His only mistake was
on the 3S that became a bad 2 with the hand down. I think the 3A's were
not perfect. Still, a wonderful performance, congratulations! But as
almost all the Canadians, he skated to a boring swingy music.
Danilchenko couldn't keep his first place and got the silver. He landed
a 3T (that is obviously to become a quad), a 3A, a 3L, then commited three
mistakes, a fall on the second 3A, only a 2R, and a two-footed 3F. He
finished well with a 3S. He's skating on « The Mask of Zorro » as
well!
Klimkin who was by all foreseen to win the competition didn't make people
mistake, but his free contained as many exceptionnal as stupid things.
He started off brilliantly with two different quads! One S first then
one T. Many specialists wrote he was the frist man to perform two different
quads in a competition, but let's not forget (though nobody has actually
seen it but the lucky people who went to Poprad) the Chinese skater who
won the Universiades. He was reported to have landed four different quads
in the free. But since this competition didn't get any coverage, no
one knows exactly.
Prahl skating fifth, after a very high single toe, fell badly on the 3L,
took some time to get up, then in an obvious great deal of pain, went for
an axel which he singled, and decided to withdrew. Element will be detailed
at request.
After these two wonderful quads, he did two camel spins in opposite direction,
like Kwan but much longer and faster. Afterwards, he landed a 3F3T but
the 3T was two footed and he fell out. Then came his famous move: camel
spin directly into 3S. Definitely unique! Followed stupid mistakes: a
very low and unbalanced second 3F, a fall on the 3R, a returned 3L and
only a 2A (he is definitely not sure of the 3A as he doesn't even try
it in the free). So, it was far from being clean. He skated to a circus
music.

LADIES
SHORT
Liashenko's win in the short was not a surprise. She was amongst all
the girls the one who has the most experience and jumps, though in the
practises her 3R is not sure yet (it's becoming alarming after so much
time) and the two Finnish girls were quite impressive landing all the jumps
esp. Kettunen.
Elena landed a 3L2T combo, a 3lip held but tentative, and a 2A. She stupidly
fell before the steps' sequence.
Second was Kettunen with a good 3L2T combo, a nice 3L, and a 2A. At last,
she skated as well in front of the judges as in practise.
Third was Corwin who of course is a flutzer cos she's American, but the
most ludicrous is that she lips on the flip. Which means that she would
totally be able of doing a real lutz, but it's much easier to cheat and
take advantage of the judges' worldwide blindness. May I remind you
that not ONE American girl in the international field performs lutzes.
So disgusting and yet real! On the other hand she's a master to combine
her jumps with a 3T, she does it very easily also because the 3T is not
high and its rotation very anticipated on the ice. Because I'm talking
of her defects, I must add that her position in the air when she jumps
is not good at all, not tight, and not straight. And during the practises
she's quite annoying, always talking loudly to her coach as she were
acting, she's definitely very fake. So, she landed 3FL3T as a combo,
she was very lucky as the landing on the FL was quite scratchy. Afterwards,
she surprisingly fell on a 3R yet her best jump. Her 2A was a real scare,
she skid on the entrance but she managed to land it somehow. The program
was not good comparing to the practises, she's able of much better.
Wiksten got a haircut and is very thin. On the same nice program as last
year (Vlashenko's blues), she coped with the pressure for once, and landed
all her elements, a high 3L2T, a 2A with a long long entrance (she likely
hates this jump), and a 3S. I was very happy for her, same for Elina.
Fitze finished 5th with a 3FL2T combo (she was lucky as the FL was not good
in practise. BTW she changed her entrance into the FL, she performs it
like Kwan and Bobek sometimes, with a turn in the opposite direction, but
it looks even more like a flutz than before). She was supposed to do a
3R after the steps, but as it didn't work in the warm up at all, she
switched to a 3T but she fell out. Good 2A. She unfortunately still skates
on her Spanish music, for the third season in a row. Her coach didn't
want her to change, and the least we can say is that we don't understand
her .
One of the numerous German girls (like for the boys many Germans entered
the ladies' field and were competing for the first time), Stadmüller,
was very lucky to be placed sixth. She fell on the 3R but, BIG SURPRISE,
she landed her 3L after the steps! OK 2A. The overall skating is not
great just correct but she's still young.
Bad surprise on the opposite for Timoshenko who was very disappointing over
the whole competition, not showing once she is the junior champion all
the same. She never landed a 3L in practise before the short. And indeed
she completely missed it in her short, with only two rotations and returns
on the landing. Even her 3R was scary. 2A ok.
Same thing on the combo could have happened to the Ukrainian Neshcheret
who never landed her 3F in practise. Nevertheless in competition she was
lucky, jumped higher and landed it no problem with a 2T at the end. Definitely
lucky! But she has two 3F's planned in the free so perhaps it's a
good jump for her but she just wasn't ready in Oberstdorf. Future will
tell us. She landed the 3R and the 2A.
The second and last American girl entered to the competition (it's a relief
there weren't three, no need of more flutzers, really!) was definitely
overrated in being placed ninth. Her overall skating is good indeed, but
she tries 3FL2T combo which is quite stupid as she can't land it in practise
at all. So she she fell on the fluzt, landed the 3T and the 2A.
Sabina only deserved two slaps! After a tremendous 3L2T, she fell on the
3R and on the 2A. As if it weren't enough, her flying sitting spin was
very tentative. Her flying sitting spin is never perfect in practise either,
she jumps then remains too high on the sitting position (exactly the same
position as Harding's flying sitting spin in Albertville's short) for
two seconds, and only after this, she takes a beautiful and correct position.
She kept her last's year short, a beautiful romance, but such a disappointing
program!
Human on the opposite was a pleasure to discover for me cos she has definitely
improved since OG. In practise she now has besides 3T, 3S and 3F. Yes,
a flip but well, it's never fully rotated. In the short she landed a
3T2T, an underrotated 3F after steps and a good 2A. Her layback position
is still an incredible moment. She's slow indeed but graceful and a
good overall skater, so she deserved better. She still skates to «
Reflects of Passion ».
Paurova, inconstant in practise comparing to her wonderful practises in
Prague where she was THE lady who was landing the most 3L's, skated bad.
Two feet on the 3L with no speed preceding, fall on the 3R not immediately
preceded by steps, double axel ok.
For the other skaters, it's not worth detailing all.
Lundstrom is very beautiful, but is trying 3L in the short whilst she can't
land it at all in practise. In practise she has 3S, 3T and sometimes 3R.
Vassiljeva surprisingly fell on her 3T and touched down on the 3R.
She now practises the 3F but she keeps falling at the moment.
Cortial only has 3T in practise and landed a 3R only once. It's alarming
at 18 years of age.
Luca has a good 3T and sometimes 3S. She is practising 3T3T, but the second
is underrotated and on two feet. She wraps the free leg moreover. But
she's definitely better than Noemi Bedö. And younger.
She missed her short probably because of a fight with her coach Marius in
the preceding practise. He's not famous for his patience.
Anette Dytrtova jumps like her sister very low and touches down very often.
She can land all the triples but not constantly at all. Her sister wasn't
competing cos she has pain in the leg and for the ones interested she told
me she would start to train back the following Monday.
Hanevold kept her last year's short. She now tries 3L with a funny entrance
but she can't land it at all. She put it in the short and missed it
completely of course. She fell on the 3T and singled her A!
Krijgsman hasn't been practising much I think over the summer, cos she
doesn't try 3R any more. She fell out on the 3S, 2T, fell on the 3T and
missed the 2A with a jumpy landing. She has no layback position at all!
Leblanc is exactly like Ferguson, trying all the 3s in practise but not
landing anyone at all. She missed all the jumps of course (no need to
tell you guys her combo was with 3L!!!) plus the combination spin.
She didn't finish last because there was (yes it's possible) a worst
skater: the Belgian Deroitte, who missed everything as well, and had a
waxel.

FREE:
The level was very very low. Judge yourself, Liashenko won with three triples
only: L, T and S, and a 2A. Many mistakes happened during the program:
a 1lip, a 1R, a 2T, and a 1A. Far from being a champion's program.
Second was Wiksten who started off well with 3L2T but then fell on the 3F,
landed 3S-Thoren-2S (3S was planned and she's capable of doing it), 3T
too, fell on the second 3L, fell out on the 2A, doubled the T, and landed
the 2R (she doesn't have the R in her repertoire yet). Again only three
triples. Same « Basic Instinct » free. It was too soft and lazy artistica
ly.
Third was Kettunen who I think never thought she would remain on the podium
after her free, so light it was. Only three triples as well, a 3R, a 3T
and a 3T1T combo. 2A. 1L, fall on the 3S, 2F... Bronze medal. Same
James Bond program.
Fourth was Neshcheret with three (if we're nice) triples also: L (wobby),
R (not fully rotated), S that might have been two-footed. 2A.
Fifth went to Aggeler with a free far from good. 2A-Thoren-3S fall, 2FL,
3T, 3R (nice), 2A.
Corwin dropped down to sixth place in the free with a fall on the 3R, 3lip
low and wobby, 2FL, 3R, and a bad fall on the back, neck and head on the
3S. And a very pretentious program.
Seventh for Fitze who has a new program on « The Addams Family ». Ok
some nice moves, but after what Krisztina has done on this music, no one
can challenge this. Fall on 3FL, 3T, 1R, fall on 3F, 2FL, low 3S, 2A.
Eight was Paurova with fell out on her 3L, touched down on the 3F, landed
3T2T, 2A, 2R, 3T, twice 2S.
Lundstrom was 9th with only one clean 3S, she two footed her 3T and her
3R on which she fell out too.
I shall finish with Timoshenko because I think it's not worth detailing
on. The day of the free, she at last got her 3L back, which could have
meant a nice rise in the standings had the free been good.
Funny detail: Hanevold (or Kwan bis) has a new free on the same exact music
as Kwan in her 97 short (the short she called Desdemona's dream, actually
music from « Othello » by Massenet and « The Red Poppy » by this
wonderful Belgian/Russian composer Gliere), quite incredible!!! She's
definitely not afraid of people thinking she's imitating Kwan. Everyone
had noticed it last year, now with this choice of music it's even more
obvious. I couldn't keep my mouth shut and I asked her why she had chosen
this music. She said she was wondering if people would notice. Of course
I had but it is true also that I'm more into musics than many fans.
I congratulated for how well she imitates Kwan, and I wasn't being sarcastic
at all, I deeply admire how well she imitates her. It's fantastic esp.
when she comes into the ice at the speaker's introduction before her
programs. She said she wasn't trying to imitate her, well she thought
she had watched her too much. But she insisted she doesn't like her
any more. To all the ones who find her cute: she has green eyes. One
more quality! But really, face to face, she looks very different.
She fell on the introducing 3F, doubled her first 3L combined to 2T, just
held on the 3S, doubled her 3R, tripled at last her lutz but fell out
on it, fell on the second 3R, landed a 2A, just held on the 3T, and doubled
the second 3S. Quite a mess and such a disappointment for her level!
It was definitely not her competition.

PAIRS
Finishing last were unfortunately the Beständig. Something quite incredible
happened. Olga who's been injured since Worlds 99, hadn't landed one
double axel in five months. She landed her first clean one just the day
before the competition. But just one, and not any more. Jozef has no
problems on this jump, he can even land 3T.
Vlandis/Peterson finished tenth (which must be tough for her who was on
all the podiums at such competitions) with a double fall on the 3T//, a
hand down on the T3R, and a big mistake by him on the spins//, he got unbalance
and couldn't finish his spin.
Zaharjeva/Salmanov from Latvia were 9th with a single axel from her, a double
from him, a T2A, and a 2TW.
The Canadians Bylow/Pollard took 8th place with a fall from her on the 3T//,
a two footed T3S, and a big splat on the lift! Being Canadians they were
well held up.
Scott/Dulebohn were 7th with her falling on the 3T//. Sorry I forgot to
write down the rest of her elements, I must have been talking to a skater
for sure.
Sixth were Shklover/Mintals with only a 2L// (I shall never understand such
a lack of strategy), a 2TW and a T3S.
Kautz/Jeschke skated very well and deserved to win over their compatriots.
They landed the 3T//, the T3T and a 2TW they still need to work on.
Rybowski/Rex got a very generous 4th place with 4 mistakes: she two footed
her 3T and it wasn't side by side at all, she two footed her T3S, the
spins// were not synchronised and on the 2TW he caught her bad.
Savchenko/Morozov skated very well to take 3d, they even deserved better,
but they are less famous than the first two pairs! Good 3T//, very high
2TW and T3S. An important discovery then.
Surprisingly second were the Ukrainians Obertas/P because of a fall on the
T3S and, as if it weren't enough, a stumble in the steps. At the look
of the practise, she is less constant than last year, less sure. They
landed ok the 3T// and the TW. They were well held up.
First were Lariviere/Faustino on the a music worshipped by the Canadians
team likely: « The Mission » (I love it too).
They landed a temptative 3T//, a low T3R and a 2TW. They are slow comparing
to the other good pairs. S/M should have been first, though they are less
elegant.
(T=thrown, TW=twist or thrown lutz but it's never a lutz's
edge so I prefer the name twist, //=side by side)
SHORT
Well, they started off with a T2S with the hand down, they haven't landed
one triple for ages as she's injured on the right ankle, the reason why
she couldn't perform her 2A, any thrown, and even not one 2TW two weeks
before the competition. Good lifts, good steps, synchronized spins. Then
came the 2A//. Olga miraculously landed hers, the coach and the ones who
knew about her problems, all we were watching her and we couldn't believe
she landed a clean one but our surprise was altered fast when we saw Jozef
on his butt... Incredible but true, she had landed hers and he had fallen
on his, the world upside down! I was so disappointed, and for many minutes
I was only thinking of this, how ironic it all was. You can imagine how
Jozy felt, for the whole day, he was sad. Just crazy!

Z/S finished last with a 2TW, a 1A//, a fall on the T2A, a T2S, bad spins,
and again a 1A//.
V/P second to last (10th) with a 2T, a fall on the T3R, a 3T// that she
doubled, a fall on the T3T, her falling on the 2A//, and a 2F//.
R/Rex tumbled down (ninth in the free) with a disastrous FP: 2TW, fall on
the 3S//, 2T//, T3S two footed, fall on the T3T, fall on the lasso flip,
only T2R, spins not in unison and again a fall on the last lift. A big
mess I'm afraid. And they still look juniorish in the presentation.
B/B won three spots with a good free for the lack of preparation, 2TW, T2A,
T2S, 2A// (yes!), 2R// that he singled, good lifts, good spins and good
speed as usual. They were pleased with their free. They finished ninth
overall.
Seventh were Kautz/J with a 2TW, 3T//, T2R, 2A// he fell out, T3T, 2R//,
and she committed a mistake on the spin.
Sixth were S/Mintals with 3T// (he two footed), T3S and T2A both two footed,
, good spins, 2A//, 2R//. They skate on « Grease ».
Fifth B/Pollard with her falling on the 3T//, T3S, 3TW, 2A//, good spins,
two footed T3R, 2A// she singled, 2T//.
The Americans S/D rose to fourth on the classic of the classics « R&J
» with 3T// that she doubled, 3TW, T3S she fell out, T2A, 2A//, 2F//,
2T//.
Third again with a much worse program than expected were the Ukrainians.
She fell on the 3T//, she just held on the T2A, they landed 1A//, 3TW,
they fell on the death spiral (!), they weren't together on the 2R and
2T//. Moreover, they used easy musics (ultrafamous) by Strauss, very disappoin
ing
for their level.
Luckily second were the Canadians L/F with many mistakes. 3TW very temptative
cos unbalanced, 2A// she singled, a fall on the 3T//, a fall on the T3R,
a T3S, good spins, good lifts, 2T//.
First were S/Morozov with a good progam on « Robin Hood », 3T// she
doubled, 2TW, T3S very high, 2A// one in the beginning and one at the end
with 2T after steps, very good lifts and T2A.
The end. Thanks for reading me.
