Hello fellow Marvel/Gambit fans!
As you know Gambit is about the best X-Man there is. And the best writer Marvel ever had for him is Fabian Nicieza.
Well, Marvel has done something very stupid - they have fired Fabian from the Gambit series and replaced him with the much dreaded Scott Lobdell. (Or as I prefer to call him - No-Talent Dumbell.) Between this and Chris Claremont's recent rudeness to his fans, what few he has left after people have started to realize he has no real writing talent, is just proof that Marvel editors have no sense. And yes, I know they canceled the Gambit title, but maybe if we stand together they'll bring it back for good!
It's time we, the fans, took a stand.
I call you to arms, friends! Raise your voice! Be heard! And get Fabian re-hired! I propose to do this by a massive mailing campaign. It doesn't matter if you chose e-mail or snail mail. You can find both addresses at the following link - (BTW - Here's some new news about the stupidity of Marvel - these idiots want to alienate fans even more by forcing them to remove any Marvel images from their websites even if they're fan sites unless these people register with Marvel! I'll even help you by providing a form letter you can copy and paste then sign yourself - you may edit it a bit if you so chose but please stay polite. Cursing never got anyone anywhere. Though I admit I called the editors some pretty harsh names at first.

Dear Marvel,
I am GREATLY saddened to hear about your firing Fabian Nicieza from Gambit and replacing him with Scott Lobdell. First off, Fabian is a much better writer, Scott could never fill Fabian's shoes, he just doesn't have the talent. Mr. Lobdell will never be able to do Gambit justice as he has proven many, *many* times in the past. Also the fact that you discontinued the series saddens me too as Gambit is your best hero!
You've already cursed us with bad art, bad relationship choices, bad story lines. Now you curse us with bad writing as well? And deny us the talent of Fabian Nicieza? True, he may be working on other series, but he is the *only* one who has done Gambit any true justice since the Cajun teamed up with a young Storm.
Understand we're not asking, we are *demanding* you fire Lobdell now and re-hire Fabian Nicieza. We are the ones who give you our money. Basically, we pay your paychecks. So techincally, we are your bosses. Unless you wish sales to slump even more dramatically then they have in the past, constant e-mail and snail mail bombardment that will make the death threats over Jean Grey's death look mild, though we won't go as far as to threaten you with death, and out right boycotting, you *will* listen to our cry and re-hire Fabian now.

Remember, try to be nice, but firm if you chose to write your own message to Marvel. Don't be afraid to send this in repeatedly. Get your friends to join in too even if they don't like Gambit I'm sure they'll agree Fabian Nicieza is Marvel's best writer. Please help get Fabian re-hired today!
