I'm a semi-experinced role-player.
I've only RPed online which is why I say "semi" rather then just experinced.
I've played horror games, Classic Marvel Super Heros, and (Advanced & Original) Dungeons & Dragons.
I admit I don't own the books - except for 2 MSH books and a book on Waterdeep.
I don't know how to do my own stats.
I don't know how to do the rolls.
I just prefer to have the Dungeon/Game Master do those.

After much pressure from my friends I've finally given in and started on J. R. R. Tolkien's books. I've read The Hobbit and the day I'm writing this, 1/27/2001, I'm in the middle of The Fellowship Of The Ring. The more I read the more I miss playing D&D/AD&D. Most of the games I was in died for one reason or another. Mostly real life got in the way. I long now to bring back two of my favorite characters. I'm looking ONLY for a PBEM (Play By E-Mail) or Message Board (IE: Yahoo Clubs) game. No real life games and no "live online" games as I just don't have time with all the MSH games I'm in, plus college classes, and work. I've tried searching for games but the GM/DMs never e-mail me back. So in a feat of desperation, I'm putting up this webpage.
The characters can have their historys altered to fit into the game so long
as they keep the same basic ideas. Cilvia is the one I want to bring back
the most. Unfortuantly I do not have her original CS with her stats, spells,
etc. But these can be filled in as needed by the DM. I'm also looking to
bring back Merideth but Cilvia is my absolute favorite.
Update - 12/21/01 - I've decided to no longer entertain requests for Cilvia, Merideth,Clio, Pryce, and Vallerie as I've had SO many requests for them and they're all now in anywhere from one to 3 different games. Also, silly as it may sound, I'm looking for a Harry Potter RPG. One where I can play an ADULT who gets her invite 14-15 years late and is determined to succeed in Hogwart's anyway. Please note that just because these characters are posted doesn't mean I can't make others. I am always coming up with ideas.

Update: 4-22-01 A lot of people have sent me invites to Yahoo Clubs. While I appreciate this I don't accept these invites for a simple reason - I need to know what the game is about, which character you're interested in, etc. You can't just send me an invite. 25 falls ago a beautiful baby girl was born to the daughter of a cruel lord. He had sold his daughter into marriage then once he knew his daughter's inherantence from her husband was secure, he had the husband murdered. He didn't know his daughter was pregnant though. So when she started to show he locked her away with only one maid. To pass the time the daughter wrote in her diary. Then when her daughter was born, her father forced his daughter to give Cilvia to him. Cilvia, and the diary, were given to a band of gypsies. They were under the orders to murder the baby and burn the diary.
Instead these gypsies, who didn't believe in killing children, gave the baby and the diary to a mage. He took one look at the golden-haired babe and decided right then and there to raise her as his own daughter. The mage himself was a bit absentminded though. He taught Cilvia many things about magic, also how to cook, sew, clean, farm, and anything else he deemed useful, but he never taught her about where babies come from, the ways of men, etc. Cilvia grew up in the middle of a forest where she and her foster father lived in a lone stone tower. Only Elves - and the moat monster, Hercamer - for friends. Cilvia grew up to be a very innocent young woman with no knowledge of the world beyond her forest.
Cilvia, either because she was taught the wrong kind of magic for her, or because her absentminded foster father forgot to teach her some things, became a bit of a klutz with spells. In fact, they often backfire with comical results. She might cast a simple mirror image spell, and end up with an indoor rainstorm. Or try to throw a fire ball, and end up with a popcorn ball (a lopsided one at that!)
This is what led to Cilvia's "freedom." While trying to learn how to create lighting, Cilvia accidently banished the mage to halfway across the world. (She doesn't know this, of course. Also during the spell she accidently turned him into a telepathic cat. He's right now contently catching mice for an innkeeper.) She also accidently destroyed the tower and only escaped with a few spell books, a quarterstaff, and her mother's diary. Once she read the latter Cilvia knew she had to do one thing. Hunt down her grandfather and turn him into a toad.

appearance: Shapely, could be very beautiful except she has a strawberry-colored birthmark that covers the left half of her face and neck. There is also another birthmark that seems to form some strange circular pattern on the top of her left breast, just above her heart. Wears a black leather mask and a wide black leather collar . Other then that she's everything most men (and some women) would desire.

History: Merideth was born in a small village. This village was small but known for it's excellent flowers and honey. Merideth's own father was the best bee keeper ever born to the village. The youngest of 10 children, both Merideth's father and mother were horrified by the sight of their daughter. Perfect in every way but the two hideous birthmarks. One on her face and neck, and the other above her heart. Fearing a witch's retribution, they raised the child, but hid her. Making her wear a sack on her head. Merideth was the subject of much ridicule and abuse by her entire family until not one shred of self esteem was left in her. Singing, dancing, and play acting was her only escape. She's very talented in these, though untrained. If there was one thing Merideth's father could do well it was produce a honey mead that some said was too good for even the gods. No one else in the family was allowed to have the recipe. Not even Merideth's brothers. Her father wrote it down and hide the recipe from his entire family. It was when an injured Amazon woman stayed with them that Merideth found the courage to run away. The Amazon taught Merideth how to handle a quarterstaff. Then convinced Merideth that she needed to leave this place. To find and steal her father's recipe and find a place where she could raise bees on her own. So Merideth did it. Staff and recipe in hand, Merideth set out. For now she lives in the wilds, wearing a black leather mask and a wide black leather collar and waiting for the day she can one day rightfully claim what she thinks is her destiny. But somedays she looks at the mark on her breast and wonders if bee keeping is really what was meant for her....
